How to Rebirth in +1 Sword Blast Evolution (and Earn Mastery)

Rebirthing in +1 Sword Blast Evolution restarts your run and pays Mastery on the spot. See how to unlock it, what resets, and how to grow each payout.

Rebirth is +1 Sword Blast Evolution's reset-and-cash-out move. When you perform it, your run restarts on the beginning sword — but the game pays you Mastery on the spot, and the payout grows with how far you pushed the run before resetting. You reach it by playing the core loop until the game offers Rebirth, then returning home to do it.

How to unlock and perform a Rebirth

  1. Train Power. Click to train — the dojo is the standard spot, and every click adds Power. The training guide covers this in depth.
  2. Fight and defeat enemies. Each stage ends in a boss, and beating that boss is what lets you advance to the next stage.
  3. Return home for new weapons and stack Wins. Wins come from your fights — an early tutorial objective is 10,000 Wins — and returning home is how you pick up stronger weapons. The wins guide explains the currency.
  4. Rebirth when the game offers it. No exact unlock number was shown in observed play — Rebirth simply became available after this loop. Once it's offered, head home and perform the Rebirth there.

What happens when you Rebirth

Your run restarts on the beginning sword, but at multiplied Power per click. In one playthrough, the starter sword then hit for 2,816,173 per click, and the player re-earned his previous sword within minutes — it then swung for 1.52 trillion a hit. The reset costs you your sword, but the multiplied Power per click earns it back in short order.

In that playthrough, the first Rebirth also handed out a pet, two new achievements, newly available upgrade options, and a rookie rank waiting on return.

Rebirth is repeatable — in one playthrough, the player chained four rebirths in 21 minutes, and each reset multiplied Power per click, so every new run grew stronger faster.

How the Mastery payout works

In observed play, the new Mastery was already in the total the moment the Rebirth finished — no separate collection step appeared. The amount depends on the progress you built first:

  • At its first availability, a Rebirth paid just 1 Mastery.
  • After training up to 10,000 Power first, the same Rebirth paid 22.
  • Much later in the run, a far stronger Rebirth paid about 1,700 on the spot.

Those are observed outcomes from one playthrough rather than a stated formula, but the direction is clear: the more you train, fight and earn before resetting, the bigger the grant. That's why it can pay to skip the first available Rebirth — the player above deliberately trained and grabbed a better weapon instead of taking a 1-Mastery payout. For where Mastery sits in the bigger picture, see the mastery guide.

What to spend Mastery on

Mastery buys progression upgrades when you return — in practice, dojo upgrades priced in Mastery. Observed price points ran 17,500, then 5 million, then 19 million, and one upgrade raised Power per click to five times what it was before. That's the compounding loop that makes Rebirthing worth it: a bigger grant funds a better dojo, a better dojo makes every click hit harder, and a harder-hitting run earns your next Rebirth faster. Meanwhile, your Wins keep accruing even while you're offline.

Before your next reset, the codes page lists codes for upgrade items, and the progression guide shows how Rebirth slots into the long game.
